ROTARY LIMBUS (Rotary ring with a degree scale for determining azimuth on the map and a 36° scale with half degrees. Rotary dial equipped with a ring. ADDITIONAL Sight - The compass has a rear sight and a thin line that acts as a front sight. There is a small magnifying glass under the rear sight that makes it easy to read the angle accurately from the compass dial. The body of the compass also consists of a cover in which an oblong hole is made, through the middle of which runs a stiff, thin line. Inside the compass is a sight.
FLOATING SHIELD - The main element of the compass is a floating dial with a magnetic needle. The needle is clearly visible, which is especially useful when navigating at night. The dial on which the needle is placed floats in a non-freezing liquid, which ensures its stability and smooth movement and reduces the impact of shocks and vibrations on the operation of the needle. Thanks to this, the needle quickly and accurately indicates the direction of magnetic north, which is very important for effective navigation.
